The Royal Hotel is a long established business in the islands capital of Portree. The hotel boasts a history of several hundred years and has been serving several generations of the local community in that time. At our Hotel on the Isle of Skye we offer our guests outstanding views of Portree Bay and often stunning sun rises. Many of our guests get up early to get fantastic photo opportunities just outside the hotel looking to Portree Bay and Raasay.

The hotel has gone through several refurbishments with each development enhancing the hotel until its current appearance. Now featuring 35 rooms including several with outstanding sea views of Portree harbour, we offer guests the perfect base for their visit to the beautiful Island of Skye.
